(Souretsu ni naku komadori) – english translation / Silver Blanchette

21 Jan

Very sharp song and story. I’m sure you will love it. I really enjoy the reference of Spica and Gemini used by Yura, in this song, to refer to the twin sisters, and also the comparison with the robin. The first time I hear the instrumental, part at 2.26, just after we discover the truth, my heart can’t stop to throbbing.

Notes:

双子座 = Gemini. It refer to the astological and constellation of Gemini. The zodia symbol of Gemini is twins, represented by the twins Castor and Pollux. The content of the story of Yura is about two twins sisters.

スピカ = Spica. It’s the star of the principal constellation of the Virgin. This star is really shinning, because it’s actually a « double stars », turning one around the other. One star illustrate one of the sister. When one of the sister is dead, Spica also disapears.

sayounara shiroi usagi tamago wa ochi wareta
konnichiwa kurayami chikirareta no wa dare
Farewell, white rabbit. The egg is broken…
Welcome, darkness! Who has been cut to pieces?

junsui de wa ikirarenai minikui kono sekai
Pures are not allowed to live, in this ugly world.

dare yori mo utsukushiku te me mo aterarenai wa
sore yue ni erabare yogosarete shimau
More beautiful than anyone, I couldn’t turn my eyes.
That’s why I have chosen, to finish completely defiled…

mabushi sugiru hikari ni hora kage ga yakitsuku
Look, in the dazzling and ending light, is carving a shadow…

futagoza hoshi nagare unmei wo chirase
omowa nu yoku ni nomare kieyuku supika
itami yurushite souretsu ni naku komadori
Divided fates flow, from the stars of Gemini.
Spica disapears, swallowed in an unexpected desire.
My pain releases… A robin is singing in the funeral procession…

itsuka mita ehon no naka akogareta anata wa
oroka ni ouji wo motomete yumemita
One day, I saw inside a picture book, “you”, that I was loving.
I was stupidly dreaming, to want my prince.

kasaneta hibi ai to zouo watashi wo midasu
Repeated days, love and hatred, everything really makes me mad…

youkoso shiroi heya atatakana karada
nemutta mama de ii wa subete sasagete
chou ni utsu gin hyouhon bako e kazaru no
Welcome, in the white room! Inside it, a warm body…
I dedicate you entirely, to stay asleep this way.
In a specimen box is adorning a butterfly, stabbed of silver…

futagoza hoshi nagare unmei wo chirase
omowa nu yoku ni nomare kieyuku supika
kokoro, yurushite souretsu ni naku komadori
Divided fates flow, from the stars of Gemini.
Spica disapears, swallowed in an unexpected desire.
Forgive my heart… A robin is singing in the funeral procession…
